Prior to Your Visit:
1. Confirmation Of Numbers
Should be made one week prior to your scheduled visit by calling the Education Liaison Officer on 03 9923 5911.
2. Support Materials For Underwater Zoo Programs
Program Overviews, Pre/Post – Visit Activities, VCE Worksheets are available on the Melbourne Aquarium website under the School Programs area.

Please photocopy worksheets for your students prior to your scheduled visit if you are booked in for a VCE Program.
3. What To Bring
Students participating in programs with work sheets need to bring along a pencil, clipboard and a copy of the work sheet.
4. Entry To The Aquarium Before Or After Session
Students will experience all of the exhibits in the Aquarium during the allocated 2 hour session. School groups are not permitted to enter the Aquarium before or after their session as those times are allocated to other school groups.
5. Lunch Areas Are Not Designated Within The Aquarium
Suitable areas are available on the banks of the Yarra to the east of the building. Bringing your own food is not permitted in the Aquarium. Café food is available for purchase however seating is reserved for the general public or alternatively lunch packs can be arranged prior to your visit. For more information, contact the Education Liaison Officer prior to your visit.
6. Gift Shop Policy
Ratio of 1 adult to every 10 students at one time may visit the gift shop at the end of your program.
7. Upon Arrival At The Aquarium
The leading teacher needs to report to the Information Desk to confirm numbers. Underwater Zoo teaching staff will greet students at the entrance and lead them into the Aquarium.
