Ocean Discovery

Explore murky swamps and coastal mangroves, and encounter the diverse swamp-dwelling marine creatures that call this unique habitat home.

Get up close to some of the unique aquatic animals bred onsite as part of SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium’s successful breeding programs including juvenile Brown Banded Bamboo sharks.

Visitors can also catch a glimpse of rehabilitating Sea Turtles in our dedicated Turtle Rescue Centre. SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium voluntarily rehabilitates these turtles until they are fighting fit and then returns them to the wild.
